About Toto
The group Toto was formed in 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro and David Paich (who were also acclaimed studio musicians working with Boz Scaggs at the time) and bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. The name of the group came from the Latin word that translates to "all-encompassing" and was determined to explore every musical style.
In 1981 the third album by Toto Turn Back was a complete failure however, they bounce back with their fourth release Isolation which contains two hits, including the title track and Roseanna. The album and tour made them a household brand all over the world.

The band broke up again following this. Toto reunited for the benefit concert in 2010 to raise money for the ALS Foundation. It was the first time in over 31 year that all of Toto's founding members were on stage together. In addition to the original members, keyboardist Greg Tambu filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate filled in for Shem Von Schroeck.
